We require a credit card to guarantee all appointments. This is standard policy in the spa industry for both day and destination spas. Spa policies have been established to ensure that our therapists are compensated for the time they set aside for our clients and their guests.
Please schedule appointments with care and be sure to give 24 hours notice on all cancellations or service changes. We have a STRICT 24 HOURS Cancellation Policy. If less than 24 hours notice is given for cancellation or rescheduling, we will charge the full treatment fee. Please book carefully. If you arrive late, your appointment will be shortened to allow our staff to be on time for the next appointment. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Check in time
Lomilomi Hana Lima is a place of calm and relaxation. Out of respect and consideration for others, please keep cell phones off and voices lowered. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to relax and prepare.
Gratuity – Tip
Our therapists and staff always strive for excellent service and a great experience for all our guests. If you feel you experience this, a standard tip for massage and esthetic service is usually 20%. We greatly appreciate your generosity. Please understand that any service over 2 hours will automatically include a 20% gratuity.
Clients from abroad
To our guests from abroad who don’t have a standard tipping culture, we will automatically include an 18% gratuity. If you would like to tip more, envelopes are available from our receptionists.
Spa Party and Special Bookings
We are happy to accommodate private events with 3 or more people for bridal showers, birthdays, reunions, kids & parents party or just because. Please contact us to make your Spa Party memorable and successful.
Please notify us when you make your reservation if you have any special conditions or physical ailments, disability or if you are pregnant to ensure that you receive the most appropriate care. It is recommended that you do not consume alcohol before treatment.
We use Organic Coconut Oil for massage & some facial services. We also use Aromatherapy Essential Oils and Hawaiian Fragrances to enhance the services. Please let us know when you book the appointment if you have any kind of skin allergy.
Valuables & Jewelry
We request that valuables be left at home. We cannot be responsible for lost items.
We welcome all ages. Parental consent is required for anyone under the age of 18 years old.
Gift Certificates & Gift Cards
Treat a friend, associate, or loved one to a wonderful experience! Gift Certificates and Gift Cards can be purchased in person, over the phone, through email, and on our website.
Complimentary tea service is included for all services over 45 minutes.
There is an additional $15 fee with Kumu Eri Mahealani.
Where to park
Most of our clients park at the public parking lot behind our building. Most of the parking in the front, side and middle of the lot allow a maximum 3 hours, the middle back area of the lot allows us to park for a maximum of 5 hours at the rate of .75 cents per hour. Street parking allows 1-2 hours maximum and costs $1.50 per hour. If you stary at the spa will be longer than you anticipated, we will be happy to help you to feed your meter, just let us know where you parked.
What to wear or bring to the spa
No need to dress up to come to our spa. Dress comfortably, relax or dress nice, either way, you don’t need to bring anything. We have everything you need except in case you go out afterward.
Steam Room Use
The steam bath has many benefits. Although it is contraindicated to: Those suffering from heart conditions, those who have hypertension or hypotension and have not seen a doctor, those with kidney failure, diabetes, or epilepsy, as well as pregnant women. The steam bath should be avoided in all these cases.

If you book online to reserve an appointment time, we will have to call you to retain this information and rebook the appointment so that all guests receive the necessary intake form.
